Founder’s Story
Votion Studios was born from a simple but urgent idea: that the future of storytelling would be shaped by technology, creativity, and systems thinking, and that Hong Kong deserved to be at the forefront of that future.
After nearly 20 years working at the intersection of art, brand, and innovation, I saw a gap. Emerging technologies like real-time rendering, virtual production, and immersive workflows were transforming how content could be created. But in Asia — and especially Hong Kong — there was no platform that combined cinema-quality execution with next-generation tech fluency.
In 2021, I co-founded Votion Studios, incubated by Vobile Group, with a mission to build exactly that: a world-class production company designed for what’s next.
From day one, Votion was never just about delivering content. It was about building infrastructure for creative evolution — a studio that could empower storytellers, brands, and artists to work faster, smarter, and more ambitiously through real-time tools, immersive pipelines, and integrated creative systems.
Through my other creative venture, I also led the development of Votion’s identity, brand voice, and visual language. From naming and positioning to narrative and design, I shaped the way Votion shows up in the world: as a company that’s bold, future-focused, and rooted in craft.
We designed and built our studio from the ground up with LED volumes, robotics, high-speed cinema tools, and a full-stack team of technologists, artists, and producers. Every decision was made to support a new creative model that fuses technical excellence with aesthetic precision.
But more than that, we built it in Hong Kong because we believe in the city’s creative potential. We believe world-class production shouldn’t live only in LA, London, or Seoul. It should live here too, and be accessible to the next generation of regional talent.
Our work now spans music, fashion, film, tech, and education. We’ve helped global brands reimagine their content, supported artists in pushing visual boundaries, and collaborated with universities to equip students with future-ready skills.
Votion is still growing, and we’re just getting started. While our foundation is rooted in XR and virtual production, we’re equally committed to exploring the next wave of creative tools — from AI-generated imagery and prompt-based workflows to real-time pipelines and immersive formats. Our goal remains the same: to be a platform for innovation, a hub for creative excellence, and a proof point that the future of content creation can be built right here in Hong Kong, and built to global standards.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
